Our regional Corporate Risk & Broking business consists of 3 offices in Cork, Limerick and Galway. This business unit has grown considerably in the past number of years, and we are now looking to make a key senior appointment to manage the broking operation servicing these offices and clients. Reporting to Operations Manager for Corporate Risk & Broking and locally to Head of our Regions Corporate Risk and Broking Manager we see this role as a key appointment as we plan for further growth in our regional network. 

Role

As a Client Service & Operations Lead, you will manage our Regional Business service teams to deliver high-quality services to our clients and contribute to senior management decisions in line with strategic goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading our regional client service team to provide management and advisory support
  • Working with the management team to achieve business unit budget and objectives.
  • Aligning to the broader WILLIS Specialism growth strategy both in terms of people and growth.
  • Overseeing renewals, claims, financial, and regulatory reporting for clients and the business
  • Preparing KPI and MI reports and presenting to the Head of Operations and Head of Regions
  • Participating in strategic and transformation projects from start to finish including business unit reviews and regular management meetings.
  • Identifying Willis client solutions and implement and embrace new revenue generating opportunities
  • Striving to achieve optimum client service delivery across our client profile industries and sectors.
  • Workflow management and teams’ structure to ensure adequate resourcing in line with our hybrid working policy.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent client service skills
  • Relevant professional qualification, at minimum CIP qualified
  • At least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in regulated broking or insurance company
  • Solid understanding of broking principles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Leadership and strong commercial acumen
