Personal Lines Broker (Longford)

We are looking for an experienced Personal Lines Broker who wishes to develop their career in insurance with a forward thinking and modern brokerage. We are one of the largest brokers in the west of Ireland and offer an excellent benefits package and will take up a senior role in our Longford branch.

Requirements:

• A recognised Insurance qualification
• Excellent telephone manner and customer care skills essential
• Experience in dealing with Insurance clients & personal lines policies
• Some commercial experience is an added advantage
• Good communication skills to build relationships with customers and our panel of Insurance companies
• The ability to work as part of a team and own initiative to meet deadlines
• Strong telesales & customer service skills
• Organisational Skills & attention to detail.
• Be an energetic, motivated and disciplined individual with a positive attitude.
• Excellent IT skills, Relay experience an advantage but not necessary
• Must be Grandfathered, APA or CIP qualified & Comply with the fitness and probity standards

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Handling customer queries and looking after all aspects of their policies
• Be self directed and resilient
• All aspects of advising & selling Car, House, Van Insurance & Ancillary products.
• Assisting in lead generation & sales initiatives
• Progression and Growth opportunities within the business
