We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our team in Cork. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of Monthly management accounts to tight deadlines
• Balance sheet reconciliations and monthly pack
• Manage 2 Accounts Assistants, oversee daily financial activities and manage the monthly bank reconciliations
• KPI reporting and monthly management reports
• Assist with Monthly forecasting
• Variance analysis
• Assist in the Budgeting process
• Support the annual audit process
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiencies
• Administer monthly employee expenses
• Submit payroll to external service providers for processing
• Administer employee Health insurance scheme

Other ad hoc duties and projects as required Candidate Requirements:

Primary degree in a relevant discipline.

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.

• Exceptional analytical, investigative, problem-solving, and follow-through abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Demonstrate in depth knowledge of financial accounting principles and operation of accounting programs.
• A high level of commercial awareness and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to establish a rapport with team and communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
• A positive, enthusiastic can-do attitude with ambition to progress and the drive to succeed.
