BIPAR - Welcome to Dublin

Brokers Ireland was delighted to host BIPAR’s Annual Meeting and AGM in Dublin from 17–19 June, extending a warm céad míle fáilte to over 100 delegates from across Europe. The event provided an excellent platform for collaboration and discussion on key industry issues, while also giving attendees the chance to experience Dublin’s renowned hospitality and culture.

BIPAR plays a vital role in connecting European brokers with regulatory bodies, representing the interests of intermediaries, supporting member associations, and promoting a strong, collaborative professional environment. The meetings also offered an opportunity for member associations to share presentations on national initiatives, fostering valuable knowledge exchange across 47 associations. These discussions highlighted the shared challenges currently facing intermediaries across Europe, with key agenda items including the Savings and Investment Union, progress on the Retail Investment Strategy, and other critical areas such as FIDA and pensions. These topics are particularly relevant as Ireland holds the EU Presidency over the coming months and will play a significant role in advancing these dossiers.

Brokers Ireland was proud to host such an important gathering for the European intermediary community, strengthening relationships and reinforcing Ireland’s role within the wider sector.
